Scattered Seed

In this message we see the beginning of the fulfillment of Jesus’ Acts 1:8 commission stating that these first century Christ followers would be spirit empowered witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth. The means by which they were scattered throughout the known world was severe persecution. Even though they suffered greatly, these first century Christians weren’t silenced but instead preached the Gospel with boldness accompanied by signs and wonders. Philip is a great example of this phenomena and helps us glean practical insight into how we are to live in the troubling days that we find ourselves in.
