Every life matters
The Protecting Human Life Team is a group that values life and endeavors to protect it. Specifically, we serve the congregation by making them aware of various social justice issues facing our community, nation, and world (such as human trafficking, abortion, and suicide) and encouraging them to put faith into action by participating in various community events to raise awareness and serve those who need help.
What Protecting Human Life Means and Why It’s Important
Our mission statement can be summed up by Proverbs 31:8-9:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
At TCC, we believe that Scripture teaches us that all human life, regardless of age, race, sex, ethnicity, religion, etc., is valuable from conception and that we are commanded to stand up for and protect those who cannot do so for themselves.
