2nd Annual STAND Community Event
Stand with Law Enforcement and First Responders
If you would like to donate items, please drop them by the Trinity Community Church office by Wednesday, 8/16/17 before 4pm. (Office hours are 10-4pm Tues. Wed & Thurs.
Fri 9-12pm)
This event supports our Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders for the selfless and amazing job they do for our communities.
Date/Time: Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 7PM – Midnight (you can leave early)
Location: Henley Street Bridge
Three Ways to Participate
1. Come out and show your support with your presence. Individuals and families alike are invited to come fill both ends of Henley Street Bridge as we honor those who selflessly protect and serve.
2. Donate items that can be included in the appreciation bags for our law enforcement officers and first responders. Items requested are things that can be used while on duty:
— Coupons from or to local businesses
— Personal Items: travel hand sanitizers, Carmex, Chapstick, Kleenex, etc.
— Individual sized candy/snacks/food such as protein bars, Clif bars, Goobers, Butterfingers, Extra gum, M&M’s, Rolos, Lifesavers, chips, soup cups, snack crackers
— Car deodorizers
3. We will be filling the appreciation bags and can use help. We will be filling them the day before the event at Catholic High School in west Knoxville. If you would like to help, please contact Julianne Durfee at 865-227-8929.
