Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Day
July 14, 2018
7:30-12:30
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Knoxville Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Trinity Community Church has been invited to help Ireen – a hardworking, home health provider – as she goes from a life of unthinkable hardships and housing insecurity to building a safe and affordable home. Originally from Burundi, Ireen spent the first twenty-one years of her life escaping dangerous wars, constant political unrest, poverty, fear and hunger. Now an American citizen, she is working with local sponsors, volunteers and the Knoxville Habitat ministry to build and purchase a home.
You can sign up using the directions below, and if you have any questions, contact April Timko at 865.438.0815.
