Stockings of Love Donations

Welcome to Christmas Stockings of Love! Since 2008 YWAM Knoxville has been dedicated to bringing joy to families in inner-city Knoxville, rural Appalachia, other areas. Inspired by the shoebox outreach, we focus on making a local impact by filling Christmas stockings with love and care.

TCC partners with YWAM Knoxville to provide stockings to hundreds of kids, and we’re thrilled to invite you to join us in this mission! With your help, we can bless children and families in need in our community and surrounding areas!

Instructions for Filling Stockings

1. Fill a Standard Size Stocking:
   Fill it with fun stocking stuffers such as:

• Small toys and games
• Candy and treats
• Books and coloring books
• School and art supplies
• Hygiene items (put in sealed bag so they don’t leak during transportation)
• Hats, gloves, and fun, one-size-fits-most socks

2. Sizing and Wish Lists:
   We’ve gathered sizes and wish lists for many children, but feel free to use them as a guideline—there’s no pressure! If we don’t have a specific size, you can estimate based on the child’s age. For example, if the child is 2 years old, consider including items in 2T or 3T sizes. Extra gifts are optional. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
3. Packaging Your Stocking:
   Place your filled stocking in an extra-large Ziploc storage bag. This helps with delivery and accommodates any items that don’t fit in the stocking. If you can’t find a bag, let us know—we have some available! You can also find XXL bags at Dollar Tree this year.
4. Labeling Your Bag:
   Make sure to label the bag with the stocking number, as well as the gender and age of the child or children.
5. Drop-Off Location:
   Stockings can be dropped off any time at the following locations. Drop off your filled bag at Trinity Community Church, 6706 Central Ave Pike, Knoxville, TN 37912, during office hours, or on Sundays and Wednesday nights. We also have drop-off barrels at Workout Anytime locations in Halls and Powell.We will have 2 concentrated drop off days on Wednesdays, December 3 &10 from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
6. Deadline:
   The drop-off deadlines are dependent upon which child you choose. You can find the deadline on the sign-up form
