Equipped to Stand Bible Study

Join us on Wednesday nights  at 7pm for our study, Equipped to Stand.

In the final section of the book of Ephesians, Paul turns his attention to the battle that exists between the powers of darkness and followers of Jesus. The focus of this passage is best understood with the overarching idea that Jesus has already won the war when He defeated death, hell, and the grave by His death and resurrection. The problem is that we still live in a fallen world where Satan and his demons attempt to wreak havoc and attack God’s people. Our job as believers is to continue to stand in the strength that is given to us by God. This stand is exemplified by the armor of God that describes the power of the Gospel working in and through our lives especially during dark times. We have graciously been equipped to stand.
