Horsemanship 101 (Connect Group)
Want to learn how to interact with and ride horses? Then this is the group for you!
Horsemanship 101 is a group led by Katherine Jeffries, Ava Bennett & Christy Bennett and will take folks who have never ridden before to working with and around horses comfortably. The first three weeks are some basic overview of thinking, acting, and general knowledge for working with horses. The last three sessions will be getting out into the outdoors and working with some horses!
While this group will only meet six times during this semester, we ask that attendees block off 12 weeks from the start date to allow for rain days.
We recommend this group for ages 13+ unless they are accompanied by an adult and approved by the group leaders. There is NO cost for this class other than bringing a helmet.
