We've heard all our lives the Psalms were meant to be sung. You can do it today, and this group is a good place to get started in this neglected form of worship. The Reformers, Luther, Calvin, Knox and their generation restored congregational worship to Christendom by arranging the Psalms in musical meter. People who weren't musically gifted could sing the Psalms they already knew with melodies they already knew. It's a magnificent Providence and a way to live Christian History; many of the Covenanter martyrs of the Killing Times sang psalms minutes before they saw Jesus face to face.
