A Message from Pastor Neil

Dear TCC,

Greetings precious ones.

I hope by now you have had a chance to navigate through our new church website: www.tccknox.com.

I am amazed at its beauty and ease of use. Thanks again to our entire Internet team for your tireless labor to make this a reality. Your godly labor will help us in achieving our goals in this new year. We are deeply grateful to you for serving us so richly.

As I set aside time to prepare myself for Sunday, I am struck with the key sentence in the text I will be speaking from Sunday: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2). As God applies it to my heart, I am experiencing the joy of the kingdom of heaven! We often look at repentance as something negative but the apostles called it “repentance leading to life” (or life-giving repentance).

Don’t miss this Sunday as I share a message entitled “The Kingdom Has Come: Change Everything!” I believe that God is drawing very near to our church and bringing us to real and deep repentance. But if that is so, that means the kingdom has come. And with the kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

One of the ways that we are going to practically apply the truths of the Kingdom Culture that we have been learning at TCC is to designate the month of February as a time of churchwide fasting and prayer. You can fast in any way that you would like. For example, you might choose to fast one day a week, fast certain types of media, or maybe fast for three consecutive days in the month. The choice is completely up to you. Every Wednesday throughout the month of February, we will also come together for Corporate Prayer at 7PM in the Sanctuary to pray for personal holiness and that God would continue to create a Kingdom Culture at TCC.

Be sure to be in our corporate gathering Sunday and please be on time. Also, think of someone that you want to bring who needs the good news that life-giving repentance is available in Jesus.

It will be a great joy to worship with you Sunday in worship and Word,

Yours in our lovely Lord,
